Organic Spelt Flour is 100% stone ground from delicious, easily digestible grains that are a primitive relative of modern day wheat. This organic whole grain wheat flour can be used in bread dough and most recipes calling for regular wheat flour, and our wholemeal spelt flour a good source of dietary fibre.

Spelt wheat flour has never been hybridised, so it has retained many of its characteristics from antiquity, including a complex flavor. Whole grain spelt is unusual because it can be more easily digested than other forms of wheat, and some people with wheat intolerance may be able to tolerate spelt; however, spelt is not gluten free. A good source of iron, fibre and manganese, our organic spelt wheat flour contains protein and is a great addition to a high-fibre diet. Fibre can help slow digestion and absorption, managing blood sugar.
